The Hospice Volunteer Program was added in 1990. These compassionate volunteers must graduate from an extensive orientation before going on to work with terminally ill patients. Since its inception, dozens have been trained in the facilitation of a supportive environment in which dying patients can live their final days with dignity and quality of life; surrounded by the comforts of friends and family. Other volunteers help the program with fundraising and office projects not requiring direct patient contact. To learn more about our Hospice Volunteer Program, call (830) 401-7561.
