GRMC’s Emergency Department (ED), designated as a Level IV trauma center, is staffed with licensed physicians, mid-level practitioners, and nursing staff specially-trained for emergency care. The ED provides 25 private rooms, including three critical care rooms designed for cardiac, respiratory or critical patients. The Emergency Department treats more than 2,000 patients each month. The ED also has a Minor Medical Care area designed to provide efficient and thorough care for less critical illness and injuries.
Our ED has beds for both emergencies and for minor care. We never close. Our patients receive care around the clock, 365 days a year. Our experienced team is available and prepared at all times. If you need assistance or have questions, any member of our team can assist you.
