Description of Program
The ACLS Provider Course is designed to provide the knowledge and skills needed to evaluate and manage the first 10 minutes of an adult ventricular fibrillation/ventricular tachycardia (VF/VT arrest. Participants are expected to prepare prior to the course by reading and studying the text and study aids provided. They will learn to manage 10 core ACLS cases. A current BLS Healthcare Provider card is required for all students prior to attending the ACLS course.
Intended Audience: Licensed Healthcare Professionals, emergency medical providers and other professionals who may have a need to respond to a cardiovascular emergency. Course completion cards awarded for successful completion through written exam and satisfactory skill performance. The card is valid for 2 years from month of issue.
