Stroke Recovery and Support

Guadalupe Regional Medical Center offers a Stroke & Recovery Support Group as a support network to aid in successful recoveries and assist members within our community.

Our stroke support group provides the opportunity to share concerns and solutions for the changes that occur after a stroke. Studies have shown the importance of social interaction and the feeling of being connected to others helps ease the depression and isolation that often arises during recovery. Whether you’re in the early stages of recovery or have been recovering for years, we invite you to join us for a monthly Stroke & Recovery Support Group meeting. Stroke survivors, family members and loved ones, as well as caregivers are encouraged to join the group.

Meetings are held monthly in the Inpatient Rehab Unit dining area on the first Wednesday of each month at 3pm. For more information, call Inpatient Rehab at 830.401.7722.
