Dr. Morales has served his country in the Air Force as a trauma surgeon in combat areas such as Afghanistan tending to our military men and women. He is board certified in general surgery and fellowship trained in burns. Most recently he was stationed at San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC) where he was an integral part of the General Surgery team and Burn Unit. As a General Surgeon at GRMC, he appreciates and values the parallels in the core values of the hospital and military: Integrity, Service, and Excellence. Dr. Morales is excited to be part of the GRMC team and its Patient First Culture.
