Share Your GRMC Memories!
It’s been almost 50 years since the City of Seguin and Guadalupe County purchased the hospital that today is known as GRMC. During that time, we’ve been privileged to create so many wonderful memories and moments of help, hope, and healing with generations of community members from all walks of life. So as we approach our anniversary in August, we’d like to know: What are some of your favorite GRMC memories?
Between now and July 30, please take a moment to jot down some of your memories (or the memories of your parents or grandparents) and send them to EMAIL? Don’t worry about making your submission letter-perfect or any particular length – in fact, bullet points or a “laundry list” of memories is just fine.
All we need to know is your name – and which memories come to mind when you think about GRMC from 1965 to today. Here are some examples of the types of memories we’re especially looking for:
– Healthcare then and now: Memories/observations about the hundreds of ways that technology has changed the way we deliver healthcare.
– GRMC team members who made a difference: Caring professionals that made your hospital stay/your job a little bit easier, who taught you lessons you never forgot, or who could always be counted on to go the extra mile – and those who were special just for being them!
– Lifetime events: Births of children and grandchildren, the care and treatment that ended up making a critical difference.
Got photos to share? Please send them along. Know someone that we should be sure and talk to before the anniversary? Please send them our way or submit a suggestion.
From the GRMC family to yours, thank you for the privilege of serving you. Here’s to the next 50 years!
