Meet Our Provider
John White, MD
Dr. White is a board-certified Urologist with the American Board of Urology who has been caring for both adult and pediatric patients for more than 20 years. He earned his medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and completed his residency at The University of New Mexico Health and Sciences Center. Dr. White’s passion for medicine began at an early age with both of his parents being healthcare providers. His father, Dr. A.J. White, is a practicing gynecologic oncologist with more than 45 years of experience in San Antonio. Dr. White’s mother, a registered nurse and Professional Association of Dive Instructor scuba course director, dedicated more than 40 years of her career also caring for patients.
Dr. White understands being a physician means more than just treating an ailment or a disease. His parents instilled in him, which he carries to his everyday practice, that care begins with a trusting relationship with those who are being cared for. His compassion, dedication and attention to the needs of his patients are the central focus for his patient-centered care. Coming from a family of musicians, Dr. White found solace not in the guitar, but in the mandolin. In his spare time, Dr. White can be found playing venues in Gruene and the surrounding areas with his band No Chance Band. When he is not performing he enjoys exploring oceans and lakes while scuba diving or in the mountains where the powder is fresh, snowboarding. Dr. White is excited to bring his wealth of knowledge and patient-centered care to those in the Seguin and surrounding communities.
