Dr. Yoganandan, often called Dr. Yoga by her patient in the states, brings a comprehensive medical background in Emergency Medicine as a hospitalist here at GRMC. Upon completion of her residency, she gained extensive experience in office procedures, UCC, labor and delivery, C-sections and GI endoscipies.

Dr. Major is a staff physician at the Anesthesia Associates of Seguin and was a former Captain in the U.S. Air Force. Her honorable dedication in the military carries on as she continues to serve her region and the GRMC Hospital Board.

Dr. Ronald Mayhorn has been a staff physician at Anesthesia Associates of Seguin since 1987. At GRMC, Dr. Mayhorn holds the position of Chief of Anesthesia and Medical Center Director.

Dr. Daniel Piña has been a staff physician at the Anesthesia Associates of Seguin since 2004. Dr. Piña completed both his residency and internship in San Antonio- where he later served as a Clinical Assistant Professor.

Prior to joining Anesthesia Associates, Dr. Wenzel taught Anesthesia at University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.

Dr. Garcia has a special interest in non-invasive imaging modalities, including CT Coronary Angiography. He strives to provide comprehensive health care through preventative cardiology and early treatment.

Dr. Gurram helps GRMC patients with their cardiovascular needs, using nuclear cardiology, cardiovascular ultrasound, stress tests and the 64-Slice CT scan to coordinate efficient, complete and compassionate care. Dr. Gurram also provides peripheral vascular interventions at GRMC.

Dr. Hennessee uses the latest technology at GRMC to perform Balloon Sinuplasty, a procedure that helps patients overcome sinus and voice concerns and disorders. Her other medical interests include thyroid and parathyroid surgery, facial skin cancer surgery and reconstruction, and general pediatric and adult ENT needs

A GRMC physician since 1986, Dr. Mullen’s services include nasal and sinus disorders, allergy testing/treatment, ear disorders, voice and swallowing disorders and hearing aides. Dr. Mullen is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and fellow of the American Board of Otolaryngology.

As a specially trained GRMC family practitioner since 2000, Dr. Boullioun is able to care for family health care needs in all stages of life.

Dr. Flores is the only physician practicing in Seguin who has completed a fellowship in geriatric medicine. While at John Peter Smith Hospital, he was chief resident of the Family Practice Residency Program.

A GRMC physician since 1994, Dr. Kneuper is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and Diplomat of the American Board of Surgery. He has been in private practice since 1992. Dr. Kneuper utilizes the best technology to help set a very high standard for patient care excellence.

Dr. Vela is a staff physician at the Seguin Surgical Clinic and has provided expert clinical support at GRMC since 1988. His extensive experience ensures excellent outcomes for GRMC surgery patients.

Dr. Gustavo Gross brings an extensive background in Emergency Medicine, Family Practice and Hospitalist care to his role as hospitalist at GRMC. Dr. Gross also has expertise in identifying snake species from around the world and treating venomous bites.

Since 2001, he has also been involved in various clinical research studies, including new antibiotics directed against drug-resistant germs such as “MRSA.” Dr. Kaspar has demonstrated his knowledge as both a clinical investigator and public speaker for prescription antibiotics. Dr. Kaspar treats all types of infections as well as HIV and Hepatitis C.

Dr. Frets has been a GRMC outstanding physician since 1980. He is highly-qualified in internal medicine- allowing him to diagnose, manage and treat adult diseases.

Dr. Tamtam has completed extensive research in areas of cardiovascular treatment, acute bacterial sinusitis, chronic bronchitis and central venous catheters. He has spoken on topics including Endocrinology/Diabetes and Risks & Indications for RBC (red blood cell) Transfusions. His knowledge in preventative medicine permits him to accurately help patients’ prevent and overcome health problems.

Dr. Kuo has been a GRMC physician since 1997. He is specially-trained to treat common, complex and chronic adult medical conditions.

Dr. Jim Colvin has been a GRMC physician since 1979. He is a member of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecologists, Guadalupe County Medical Society,Texas Medical Association and Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

Dr. Alyson Kirchner was awarded Executive Chief Resident at UTHSC-SA in the OB/GYN Department. A Seguin native, Dr. Kirchner understands the importance of providing quality health care close to home. She specializes in women’s health care, bone density testing, 3D/4D ultrasound diagnostics and laparoscopic surgical procedures like laparoscopic hysterectomy and pelvic floor reconstruction.

A GRMC physician since 1984, Dr. Mannel specializes in women’s health care including 3D/4D ultrasound exam photos and video and bone density testing. He also performs several laparoscopic surgical procedures-helping patients receive the right care with less recovery time, costs, and pain compared to traditional open procedures.

Dr. Albert E. Rath brings extensive medical experience to GRMC. He is a member of the Texas Medical Association, Texas Association OB/GYNs, Cooke Club, Christian Medical Society and the Comal County Medical Society.

Dr. Daggubati’s special interests include breast and gastrointestinal malignancies and clinical trials. She has published in the Journal of the European Society of Cardiology, and presented at the American College of Gastroenterology meeting and the 79th Annual Meetings of the Endocrine Society. Dr. Daggubati scored in the Top 10 percentile upon taking her American Board of Internal Medicine board exams.

As a Fellow of the American Academy of Othopaedic Surgeons and former Major in the US Air Force, Dr. Deetjen has received various awards and achievements for his excellent service to patients. Recently, Dr. Deetjen was named a Top Doctor and Best Physician as chosen by peers in San Antonio Magazine. He is also a member of the International Medical Assistance Board of Directors, Seguin Pregnancy Center Board of Directors and has been involved with several short term medical missions to Mexico.

A Native Texan, Dr. Sahni has developed a reputation as a skilled and knowledgeable spinal surgeon by utilizing the latest advancements in spinal surgery techniques. Minimally invasive state-of-the-art spinal surgery techniques allow for low complication rates for GRMC patients.

Dr. Twitero has served in the positions of Chief of Surgery and Department Chief of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation Services in military hospitals. A former Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army, Dr. Twitero has received many military honors, including a Bronze Star for his efforts in Iraq and special commendations for excellent patient care.

As Chief Medical Officer (CMO) at GRMC, Dr. Steven White makes it a high priority to serve the needs of GRMC patients and medical staff. He has practiced at GRMC since 1984. Dr. White is also active with many professional associations such as the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Texas Medical Association, Texas Orthopedic Association and the Guadalupe County Medical Society.

Dr. Grieder has been a GRMC physician and Director of Seguin Pathology Services since 1986. He is a fellow of the College of American Pathologists and a member of the Texas Medical Association, Guadalupe Medical Society and American Medical Association.

Dr. Castro is the Medical Director of the Teddy Buerger Center (TBC), the only licensed treatment center in Guadalupe county, and the Heritage Program. She has provided outpatient chemical dependency and mental health services at GRMC since 1992.

Dr. Hong is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians and the Society of Critical Care Medicine. Joining the GRMC medical staff in 2007, Dr. Hong’s local availability allows our community to be treated for both pulmonary and sleep disorders without having to travel out of town.

Dr. Lawson’s special interests include intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), LINAC-based radiosurgery, head and neck cancer, PET/CT treatment planning, and brachtherapy. Dr. Lawson is a member of the American Society of Therapeutic Radiation Oncology, American College of Radiology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.

Dr. Thomas Cody has held several professional positions of academia in radiology as Clinical Professor, Associate Head Professor and Assistant Professor of Radiology at UTHSC-SA.

Dr. Robert Ryan is the current Chief of Staff at GRMC and has cared for patients in our region since 2004. After 7 years with Seguin Urology, he recently opened his solo practice, Guadalupe Urology. He has received many honors including The Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons Resident Achievement Award, Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and the Pfizer Scholars in Urology.

Dr. Solomon is a retired Colonel in the US Army. His extensive medical training allows him to provide the highest level health care to GRMC patients.

Dr. Dietz has practiced Hyperbaric Medicine and Wound Care since 1997. He began helping patients in GRMC's Wound and Hyperbaric Medicine Center in December 2004. Prior, Dr. Dietz practiced locally as an ER physician and trained in hyperbaric and wound care medicine. GRMC is fortunate to have Dr. Dietz on board as a full-time medical practitioner, helping patients improve their quality of health.

Dr. Terri Quebedeaux, trained in Podiatry and Wound Care, has specialized in treating lower extremity wounds at GRMC since 1999. Dr. Quebedeaux began GRMC's Wound & Hyperbaric Medicine Center in December 2004. She helps patients to identify undiagnosed diseases that may have affected their healing process. Dr. Quebedeaux’s extensive medical knowledge and service can help GRMC patients learn to make positive changes in their lives.
