Guadalupe Regional Medical Center (GRMC) General Surgeon Elizabeth Beste, MD, has reached a significant milestone accomplishment, achieving her 100^th robotic surgery at GRMC in just one year – her first robotic procedure at GRMC was in February of 2018. Dr. Bestes’ robotic procedures include hernia repair, appendectomies, gallbladder removal, as well as small and large bowel procedures.

 Since 2014, GRMC has performed more than 1,200 robotic surgeries, allowing physicians an amazing degree of accuracy and control, while providing patients a less invasive surgical option. In 2018, GRMC became the only healthcare facility in the region to offer robotic surgery with the most advanced surgical system to date; the da Vinci Xi Surgical System.
