Martin Levett, MD, FACP, completed an Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, TX. He has been an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Texas M. D. Anderson, Houston, TX and the Uniformed Services University, Bethesda, MD and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. He served in the U.S. Navy Reserves for 21 years and retired as a Captain. His interest in patient care comes from his combat and exercise tours with various units of the United States Marine Corps in the Middle East and Africa, where he treated life and limb threatening wounds with limited resources.

Dr. Levett strives to make patients feel like they are family and keep them informed about their medical conditions, as well as options and therapeutic goals. Believing that an informed patient is more likely to comply with the plan of care and thus more likely to heal, Dr. Levett is passionate about educating and informing the patient to assure the highest possible level of successful healing.
