Dr. Ramsey serves as the Director of the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Fellowship training program, Director for Maternal Transport and Outreach, and Maternal Medical Director for the University Hospital Level IV Maternal Center.  Dr. Ramsey completed his medical school training at the University of Wisconsin Madison School of Medicine in 1994 and residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine in Rochester, MN in 1998. He completed a fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2001. He also received a Master of Science in Public Health with emphasis in Epidemiology/International Health in 2003. He is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine.

Guadalupe Regional Medical Center’s Maternal Fetal Medicine physicians offer diagnostic capabilities for high-risk obstetrical patients and provide state-of-the-art obstetric and medical care with the latest diagnostic testing.

Services include:
• Advanced ultrasound / Prenatal diagnosis
• Counseling
• First trimester screening
• Amniocentesis (genetic testing)
• Management of medical complications in pregnancy

Office Hours and Appointments:
Perinatal Specialists see patients Wednesday mornings. Appointments are scheduled through your OB/GYN physician. You may contact the GRMC MFM Coordinator at 830.401.7195.
