COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic Scheduled for 1,000 Doses of Janssen and 1,000 Second Doses of Moderna

Guadalupe Regional Medical Center, Guadalupe County and the City of Seguin will administer COVID-19 vaccines on Tuesday, March 30 at the Seguin Coliseum, 950 S. Austin, Seguin Texas. 1,000 doses of the Johnson & Johnson Janssen vaccine and 1,000 Moderna second doses will be administered from 9 am to 5 pm.

All COVID-19 vaccines are free of charge and available by appointment only.

Who is Eligible for Vaccination Now: All individuals ages 18 and older qualify for the Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) and Moderna vaccines. Individuals 16 and older are eligible to receive the Pfizer vaccine.

Appointments for vaccines will be made utilizing the COVID-19 Vaccine Waitlist. You can sign up for the waitlist by visiting the following link: http://www.Seguintexas.gov/covidvaccine. Once you are on the waitlist, you will receive an email from Eventbrite when a vaccine appointment becomes available. You will have 12 hours to respond to the email and set your appointment. After 12 hours of no response, your spot on the waitlist will roll off and you will need to sign up again.

Those without computer, internet access or an email address can call (830) 386-2219 and leave a message for assistance with signing up for the waitlist.

The vaccine waitlist closes periodically as it becomes full, but re-opens as individuals on the waitlist receive their vaccines. When this occurs, a notification will be posted on the COVID-19 vaccine webpage on the City of Seguin’s website, as well as on the City of Seguin Government Facebook page.

Vaccine Brand and Scheduling: The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) states that the Pfizer, Moderna, and Janssen vaccines are not interchangeable with each other. Vaccines will be
scheduled in the order of the number assigned to the person on the waiting list based on vaccine availability. As more vaccines become available through allocations from the State, we will continue to assign appointment times by order of the waitlist without regard to vaccine manufacturer. If you miss an appointment you will have to sign back up on the wait list.
