Guadalupe Regional Medical Center, Guadalupe County and the City of Seguin will administer COVID-19 vaccines this Thursday and Friday at the Seguin Coliseum at 950 S. Austin, Seguin, TX. On Thursday March 11, 2021 from 8am-5pm 1,000 COVID-19 Moderna vaccine first doses will be administered along with 350 Moderna second doses. On Friday March 12, 2021 from 9am-4 pm 2,500 doses of the one dose Janssen COVID-19 vaccine will be given.

All COVID-19 vaccines are free of charge. Appointments only.

Who is Eligible for Vaccination Now: The State of Texas is still focusing on vaccine delivery to Phase 1A and 1B (which now includes education and child care personnel). Appointments for vaccines will be made utilizing the COVID-19 Vaccine Waitlist.

You can sign up for the waitlist by visiting the following link: http://www.Seguintexas.gov/covidvaccine.

Once you are on the waitlist, you will receive an email from Eventbrite when a vaccine appointment becomes available and you will have 12 hours to respond to the email and set your appointment. After 12 hours of no response, your spot on the waitlist will roll off and you will need to sign up again.

Vaccine Brand and Scheduling: The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) states that the Pfizer, Moderna, and Janssen vaccines are not interchangeable with each other. Vaccines will be scheduled in the order of the number assigned to the person on the waiting list based on vaccine availability. As more vaccines become available through allocations from the State we will continue to assign appointment times by order of the waitlist without regard to vaccine manufacturer. Thursday vaccine appointments are not transferrable to Friday. If you miss an appointment you will have to sign back up on the wait list.

Be Prepared: Persons arriving to the Coliseum for their vaccine will need to bring their State issued photo identification. Participants must wear a face mask, be screened, and practice social distancing. Please bring your immunization card if you are receiving your second dose.
