Guadalupe Regional Medical Center COVID-19 Update: December 23, 2020

The morning of December 23rd 2020, Guadalupe Regional Medical Center received a shipment of 800 Moderna COVID-19 vaccinations through a distribution program run by the State. Medical personnel that provide direct patient care are our highest priority for this initial distribution.

Together Guadalupe Regional Medical Center and Guadalupe Regional Medical Group employs over 800 people that have been on the front-line of caring for COVID-19 patients during the ongoing pandemic. We anticipate this initial COVID-19 vaccine shipment will be completely distributed to our healthcare providers.

Guadalupe Regional Medical Center encourages everyone to discuss with their family practice providers whether they should get vaccinated for COVID-19. The CDC link below provides additional information on the two types of COVID-19 vaccines currently available under FDA emergency use authorizations.

GRMC has no information on COVID-19 vaccination availability for the general public.
