Board Certified in Psychiatry and Neurology, Rebecca Castro, MD received her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, then went on to complete both an internship and residency in general psychiatry. She brings a wealth of knowledge being the Medical Director for nearly 20 years of the following GRMC programs:

• Heritage Program for Senior Adults
• Teddy Buerger Center
• EAP (Employee Assistance Program)
• Mental Health Services

Dr. Castro is fluent in Spanish and an active member of the American Psychiatric Association, American Association of Geriatric Psychiatry, and Guadalupe County Medical Society.
