Ronnie Garcia, MD, FACC is a board-certified cardiologist dedicated to helping patients prevent, detect, and manage heart disease through personalized, patient-centered care. A native of South Texas, Dr. Garcia grew up in San Antonio and earned his undergraduate degree from Our Lady of the Lake University before receiving his medical degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. After medical school, he served 11 years in the U.S. Navy, completing his Internal Medicine residency at Naval Hospital Portsmouth, practicing as a Navy internist in Corpus Christi, and later completing a Cardiology Fellowship in 2006 at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda.

As a cardiologist, Dr. Garcia has a special interest in non-invasive cardiac imaging, including the latest advancements in CT Coronary Angiography. He is a strong advocate for preventive cardiology and believes that early detection and proactive care are key to long-term heart health. Dr. Garcia emphasizes a collaborative approach to treatment, encouraging patients to be active partners in their healthcare decisions. He believes in combining healthy lifestyle choices, preventive strategies, and evidence-based medical therapies to help each patient achieve the best possible cardiovascular health.
