At GRMG Internal Medicine/Nephrology Associates, Bhupinder Sangha, MD brings a wealth of knowledge, being Board-Certified in Internal Medicine, Nephrology, and Critical Care.  Dr. Sangha is also trained in interventional nephrology procedures. He completed his Internal Medicine residency along with Nephrology and Critical Care Fellowships at LSU Health Science Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. Prior to joining GRMG, he practiced at Baylor Scott and White in Waco.  Dr. Sangha’s expertise in critical care and treatment of complex kidney diseases, heightens the level of care and broadens the scope of procedures and treatment options provided to patients in Seguin and surrounding communities.

Dr. Sangha is an expert in the management of:

  • Chronic kidney disease
  • Resistant hypertension
  • Hyperparathyroidism (primary or secondary)
  • Anemia of renal disease
  • Secondary hypertension
  • Work-up of nephrolithiasis
  • Proteinuria including Nephrotic Syndrome

Dr. Sangha can perform the following procedures at GRMC:

  • Permanent dialysis catheter (permacath) placement, exchange or removal
  • Placement of temporary dialysis catheter
  • Fistulogram with angioplasty
  • Thrombectomy (declot) of AV grafts
  • Bronchoscopy with bronchoalveolar lavage
  • Bronchoscopy with removal of foreign body from the airways or removal of mucous plug
  • Bronchoscopy with brushing and biopsy of the endobronchial lesions
  • Hemodialysis and CRRT
  • Chest tube placement
  • Pleuryx catheter placement for management of malignant pleural effusions
  • Chemical pleurodseis for recurrent pleural effusions
